BIRTHING BRIDGE

Bridging the gap in Maternal Care during Covid-19 and Beyond

Birthing Bridge was one of the winners at the MIT Africa Takes on Covid-19 hackathon, with the purpose to bridge the gap in maternal care during covid-19 and beyond in an effort to sustain primary care in Africa. We hope to excel in the sphere of antenatal and postnatal care for African women, by empowering expecting mothers to self-monitor and triage through a three-pronged approach of information dissemination, text and call platform, and triage network.

Our team believes in the viability of the solution and is in the works to take Birthing Bridge from idea to fruition to achieve the greater WHO goal of lowering maternal mortality rates in Africa.
